Our Vision
Linekin Bay, Boothbay Harbor Maine

As more and more people are interested in four season homes and the lifestyle that midcoast Maine offers, the Branch family, in conjunction with Chip Newell, who returned to Maine 35 years after his Bowdoin graduation, and his wife, Susan Morris, created a plan to transform Linekin Bay Resort into a community that includes homes for sale, 40 beautifully-appointed guestrooms, a waterfront restaurant and bar, function space, and a wide variety of amenities, many focused around the water. The team has approached the development plan with a shared commitment to sustainability of the environment and to building green, using energy-efficient construction materials and techniques.

As guardians of the family's legacy, the current Branch generation provides the vision around which Linekin Bay Resort is being developed. For three generations, the Branch family has welcomed visitors to their special paradise. It is this tradition of hospitality that motivated them to pursue development of the new Linekin Bay Resort community. As the physical amenities are updated to match today's resort lifestyle, the Branch family's enthusiasm for sharing their love of sailing and enjoying coastal Maine remains strong.

Above all, the team together will take Linekin Bay Resort into a new era while preserving and enhancing the Branch family spirit of hospitality and the fostering of Maine living.
